Megan VonDuve

I’ve been integral to the Complete Real Estate family for over seven exciting years. My journey with this remarkable company began in the Property Management division; where I immersed myself in every facet of Property Management – from finance and maintenance to leasing and management. With each role I embraced; I gained valuable insights that shaped my real estate industry expertise.

As I embark on this new chapter; I’m thrilled to be stepping into the Finance and Administrative Officer role for our esteemed real estate office. My journey has led me to this pivotal position; where I focus on ensuring company-wide compliance and driving operational excellence. One of my key responsibilities involves crafting and updating procedures for all divisions, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of efficiency and effectiveness.

Working hand-in-hand with our brilliant Chief Financial and Marketing Officer; I take on responsibilities such as account reconciliation, processing accounts payable and receivable, and generating comprehensive central activity reports. This collaborative effort is paramount to maintaining our organisation’s financial health and stability.

I am also involved with our marketing and assist with developing cutting-edge marketing strategies and promotional tasks that resonate with our diverse audience.

In addition; I’m excited to oversee the financial operations of our vibrant sales division, extending my support to our Property Management and Commercial divisions when needed. My versatile skill set, extensive experience, and in-depth industry knowledge allow me to be an all-rounder professional, ready to lend a helping hand and provide valuable insights wherever they are needed.

I’m genuinely thrilled to continue this incredible journey with Complete Real Estate, contributing my expertise and passion to further elevate our company’s standing in the dynamic world of real estate.

My role at Complete Real Estate is a blend of company finance and marketing, allowing me to bring a unique perspective to our operations and growth. Before joining this team in 2018, I spent a significant part of my career supporting depots across Australia for a national logistics company. There, I was responsible for managing large accounts for national retail chains, honing my account management and finance skills.

My passion lies in supporting and promoting our teams within the office. I genuinely believe in the power of a well-supported team and am always eager to lend my expertise where it can be most effective.

One of my professional strengths is creating streamlined processes and procedures to improve our services. I also love bringing a creative approach to problem-solving, allowing me to tackle challenges innovatively.

As the custodian of our company’s finances, I oversee our accounts receivable and payable and support our directors with crucial reporting. This role gives me a holistic view of our financial health and helps me guide our financial decisions to ensure our sustained growth and stability.

As the Chief Marketing Officer, I am responsible for crafting and executing our marketing strategies and ensuring that our marketing presentations maintain a high-quality level and genuinely reflect our team’s unique strengths. I aim to sustain our marketing efforts as effectively as possible, driving growth while building our brand’s reputation.

Working at this intersection of finance and marketing is an exciting challenge, and I am thrilled to be a part of this journey. I look forward to continuing to support our teams, our operations, and our growth in the future.

Abby Sargeant

With more than 15 years spent working in finance and administration, I have wide-ranging experience across a mix of accounting and finance business activities, including large commercial retailers. My financial responsibilities at Herbert Commercial include receiving rental payments, collating reports for late-payments and ensuring follow-up. In addition, I manage all outgoing costs for disbursements such as utilities, building insurance and general maintenance, then generate invoices to collect payments from tenants. At Herbert Commercial we disburse funds to landlords and other creditors on a bi-monthly basis.

My role also includes monitoring the requirements of commercial building leases, including monitoring market reviews, managing annual rent increases and monitoring extension rights and termination options. Additionally, I undertake risk management activities, where I identify and support distressed tenants with payment plans including those affected by COVID, and assist both tenants and landlords in budgeting their annual costs and management of admin funds.

As a valued member of the Herbert Commercial team, I pride myself on my professionalism, extensive industry knowledge and no-nonsense approach. My ability to respond to problems and manage tough conversations see me find a win-win solution for both tenants and landlords.
