Here in Mount Gambier the market has grown steadily over the last five years and shows no signs of slowing down. In the first half of 2021, we saw steady growth of 5 to 10 per cent across centrally located property. Land with subdivision potential and new housing developments are seeing the strongest growth. 

We’re seeing a lot of interest from locals who are choosing to settle here in Mount Gambier to raise their families, which is wonderful to see. We’ve also experienced an increase from interstate buyers, who are thinking about a move to the Limestone Coast for its lifestyle, affordability and community. 

The fact that people can now work from anywhere means more can choose a great lifestyle, rather than being limited by their daily commute. 

For investors too, there’s the security that comes with investing in a town with great potential. It’s an exciting time for Mount Gambier, with more buyers but less stock on the market creating more competition.
